Welcome to our little piece of paradise.

We are a small, family-owned accommodation nestled on the beautiful island of Rarotonga in the Cook Islands. Our family has proudly welcomed guests for many years, and we love sharing this special place with visitors from around the world.

My mother, Annie, is your friendly on-site manager. I look after our bookings, sales and marketing, and everything behind the scenes to ensure your experience is as seamless as possible. You'll also meet Rogelio and Agus, who have been part of our team for many years and help us maintain the property and care for our guests.

The land our bungalows stand on has been in our family for three generations, almost 100 years. It holds generations of cherished memories, and it is a privilege to care for and share this special place with others. We hope that during your stay, you'll create your own unforgettable memories here too.

Located on the beautiful island of Rarotonga, in the village of Arorangi within the district of Akaoa, Sunset Palms Rarotonga is tucked away just off the Ara Tapu main road. Our idyllic west coast location offers guests pristine white sandy beaches, crystal-clear lagoons, and some of the most spectacular sunsets in the Cook Islands.

Getting Here

Sunset Palms Rarotonga is conveniently located just a short drive from Rarotonga International Airport.

Upon arrival, there are several transport options available:

  • Airport Transfers – We're happy to arrange your airport transfers with Tiare Transport. Simply let us know your flight details when booking.
  • Taxis – Taxis are readily available outside the airport terminal.
